Important Tax Exempt Status - If you have a resale tax exempt number you must email a copy of your state Certificate of Resale form to info@pillarauctions.com prior to the conclusion of the online auction. You must include your bidder number and the closing date of the auction. Forms without this information will not be accepted and you will have to apply to the state for a refund. The Pillar Auction Company reserves the right to add or remove items from any auction, split or combine lots, add reserve prices or minimum bids, suspend, cancel, reschedule or extend an individual item and/or auction event. The Pillar Auction Company reserves the right to make changes to the auction closing times, inspection, or removal times. The Pillar Auction Company reserves the right to update or change the terms and conditions before any individual auction is open for bidding. The Pillar Auction Company is disclosing that we do allow seller bidding for the sake of item reserves. The seller is allowed to bid on his/her items until they meet his/her reserve price or until they purchase the item back. All of The Pillar Auction Company sales are deemed reserve auctions unless otherwise posted ''absolute''. With permission from the ''seller or consignor'' the auctioneer and staff retain the right to bid on auction items at their own sales. Please read terms before bidding on each auction. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract and/or agreement, or breach thereof, shall be settled by Small Claims Court, State Court or Arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, and judgments upon the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. BIDDING:
Bidding will end on the first lot at 7 PM and then in increments of 1, in catalog order, every minute until the last item is closed. If you bid in the last 10 minutes of a lot closing the clock will reset to 10 minutes and will continue to reset as long as the bidding is active. You should immediately review your bids before they are submitted. If you make a gross bidding error, you must immediately contact our office by email at info@pillarauctions.com. However, you will still remain the high bidder. We will not reverse bids that have caused others to be outbid. If you bid on the wrong item, we will not reverse your bid. Please review all bids before submitting. We will not reverse bids after the auction has begun closing. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. You are bidding on the described item NOT THE PHOTO. Always read the item's entire description. The highest bidder shall be the buyer at the hammer price and any dispute shall be settled at the Auctioneer's absolute discretion. The Auctioneer has the right at his absolute discretion to refuse any bid and to advance the bidding as he may decide.
The Pillar Auction Company requires each bidder to include the following in their profile: a valid credit card number, a valid phone number, the correct billing address for the credit card provided (the credit card will decline if the address on file does not match the credit card), and a valid email address. If your credit card declines a 2% fee will be assessed to rerun the credit card. If your credit card declines, resulting in failure of payment, your bidder number will be turned off. If your phone number is not valid, your bidder number will be turned off. The Pillar Auction Company does not tolerate falsifying information in order to bid at will. Your bidder number will be deleted immediately if we discover a bidder is bidding under false information and legal action will be taken.INSPECTION:
PICK-UP TIMES:
Removal shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. The Pillar Auction Company is not liable nor responsible for any bodily injuries, death to any persons or any damages to property when removing or transporting any items. Buyer is responsible for all tools and labor required for removal. All Shipping Arrangements must be arranged between buyer and freight company. The Pillar Auction Company will prepare your item for shipping for a fee. The Pillar Auction Company has limited delivery within a limited area, for a fee. Purchases will be released upon presentation of your paid invoice. Please insure that anyone picking up items on your behalf has the paid receipt in their possession. If you fail to pick up at the designated times and you have NOT notified us of a later date for pick-up, your items are abandoned and all monies lost. PAYMENT:
All Auction Purchases must be Paid in Full prior to removing items from premises. All purchases are subject to State Taxes and a Buyers Premium. Bidder's who fail to pickup their winning lots during the scheduled pickup times will be Charged a $10 fee for Non Pickup / Alternate Pickup of Items. All invoices will be charged (including the $10 fee) to the Credit Card on file for each individual bidder who has failed to pickup their winning auction Lots. SECURITY:
